Privacy policy
Last updated: 14 July 2026. In short: this website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and embeds no third-party services that track you. That is why there is no consent banner. What data does arise is described below.

2. Simply visiting the website
As with any web server, technical access data are recorded in server log files: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the amount of data transferred, the referring page and the browser identification.
Purpose: technical operation, security and troubleshooting. These data are not combined with other sources and are not used to analyse the behaviour of individuals. They are deleted automatically by the hosting provider after a short period.
Hosting: the website is operated at bitpoint.ch (Switzerland), which processes the access data on our behalf; the servers are located in Switzerland.
3. No cookies, no analytics
No cookies are set, no analytics tool (such as Google Analytics) is used, and no advertising networks are embedded.
The only thing stored in your browser is your choice of the light or dark theme. It is kept locally in your browser's localStorage, never leaves your device and contains no personal data. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site's browser data.
4. When you buy
Purchases are processed by the payment service provider Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Ireland, and Stripe, Inc., USA). Stripe processes your e-mail address, payment details and technical payment data. We never receive or store full credit card details.
From Stripe we receive, for the purpose of fulfilment: your e-mail address, the payment status and the payment identifier. We need these in order to
- release the download,
- let you download the file again later (the "Download again" page),
- and to meet our record-keeping obligations.
Legal basis: performance of the contract. Without these data the purchase cannot be processed.
Retention: purchase and payment records are kept for ten years where the law requires it.
Transfer abroad: Stripe also processes data in the USA and bases this transfer on the customary legal safeguards (standard contractual clauses). See Stripe's privacy policy.
5. When you download again
On the "Download again" page you enter the e-mail address you bought with. It is used solely to check with Stripe whether a completed purchase exists for that address; a time-limited download link is then generated. The address is not stored permanently and is never used for advertising.
6. E-mail contact
If you write to info@kistepix.com or fehler@kistepix.com, your details are used to handle your enquiry and kept only as long as that requires.
7. The software collects nothing
KistePix itself runs entirely locally on your machine. It needs no account, sends no usage data, contacts no servers and works completely offline. Your artwork never leaves your computer.
8. Your rights
You have the right to obtain information about the data processed about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. You may also object to processing and, where applicable, request your data in a common format.
Please write to info@kistepix.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority — in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
9. Changes
This policy will be updated if the processing changes. The version published on this page applies.
